We were so proud to be part of Saturday's funeral march & rally for public transit with Scott Wiener and hundreds of advocates.

Now we need everyone to call Gov. Newsom and other state leaders to ask they fund transit in the state budget.

The Studio Ghibli concert tonight at Grace Cathedral (Nob Hill, SF) was a packed house. The musicians rewrote the music for a trio. It was beautiful. Public transit zipped everyone home in 20 mins. (I was home on parenting duty)

The first phase of the Geary Blvd Improvement Project resulted in 18% faster bus travel times, a 37% improvement in transit reliability, and 81% less dangerous speeding by cars.

Now we want to extend those benefits to the next section of Geary. The tradeoff is a loss of an average of 1.4 parking spaces per block and we should absolutely do this in order to save lives and improve the level of transit service.

Supe Chan, former Supe Fewer and David Heller (Geary Merchants Assoc) will run Geary businesses further into the ground with their regressive, anti-transit policies.

Exploiting the rights of transit riders is despicable.

Geary is also on the High Injury Network but Chan/Fewer/Heller could care less.

I just did an interview with KCBS about the scope of the D1 SFCTA Mobility study. The very quick interview was focused on Westside transit reinventing itself and a protected active transpo network in the Richmond.
