Conclusion is a big yes.

Using static files under a primary domain .well-known/matrix/{server,client} hosted in, route traffic via Tailscale Funnel on ports 8443 and 443 (one federation port).

Through a Tailscale Docker container configured as a proxy, traffic can be forward TCP/TLS via socat.

From socat, traefik handles routing to Dendrite.

Was concerned with bandwidth, stability and latency, but things are looking good so far.

Soo @tailscale #funnel is pretty cool but is it possible to have the tailscale client terminate the #TLS connection and reverseproxy to an internal webserver (like it's possible with funnel) just without exposing the end point to the Internet?

First of all, MS Excel used and uses this symbol; I don't know since when and whether older programs also used this symbol. It's common though that "competitors" and other programs copy UI elements from well-known software.
Regarding why the funnel: Funnels are often used in combination to filters. You will see a lot of pictures of funnels on <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filter_(chemistry)>. I mean, even a coffee filter looks like a funnel. #funnel #filter #symbol #ui
