Heather Cox Richardson (HCR)

HCR's *Letters from an American* is a daily read. Sane. Insightful. Often framed in the historical context of the greater American Experiment. This morning I had a good gut laugh. I keep a notebook entitled, "Funny Things Narcissists Say," and reading HCR I realized that I need a complementary supplement of "Funny Things Said to Narcissists."

The hearing devoted time to a discussion of Trump’s attempt to get Twitter to take down a tweet by model Chrissy Teigen who, after Trump insulted her on Twitter, referred to him as a “p*ssy *ss b*tch” (a description that is now in the Congressional Record). The White House contacted Twitter immediately to ask it to take down this “derogatory statement directed toward the president.” (Twitter left it up.)
