Still negative but I most definitely picked up a bug.

But it probably happened either in the plane or after I got home because this cold only started showing symptoms Friday.

My guess is it's RSV.

This was no accident, though. I've had three vax boosters and wore an N-95 mask religiously. However, the truth is that these things won't *prevent* infection, but they will *reduce the probability* of infection. I'm glad I took these measures.

So I’ve been developing a bit of a head cold and sore throat through the day and made sure to test myself.
First result was negative (there will be a follow up tomorrow) but it has come to my attention that a room I visited had somebody who tested positive staying there.

13000+ attendees and people are genuinely surprised they are testing positive for Covid? The pandemic did not end and this *potentially* turned out to be an actual superspreader event. We'll see in a few days. #FurFestCovidTest
