For this one, I used a SID feature I haven't used before - combining waveforms. The SID allows you to combine triangle, saw, and pulse wave in any combination to produce more complex waveforms, which lets you access a wider variety of sounds than you otherwise could. I also managed to make use of the SID's weird envelope gating to reproduce the synth rhythm at the start of Antonymph.

I made a new chiptune! This one is a BBC Micro cover of "Human", by The Killers. This one uses the BBC Micro's bass tone capability, which it apparently has. I say "apparently" because the documentation is really unclear about it, but my research suggests it was actually used in Micro tunes so it must be a thing.
I also figured out a neat trick - by inducing a tiny delay between the kick sound and the bass/noise channel, this allows them both to sound near-simultaneously without actually overlapping, and results in a punchier snare sound.

A new tune droppeth! This is my C64 SID cover of one of my favorite Amiga tunes, "Seeing is Believing". Not 100% sure about it but I think it sounds all right. I couldn't quite match the wonderfully liquid, airy quality that made the original so good. #c64 #chiptune #furnacetracker

I made a new chiptune song cover! This time "Here on the Moon" by 4everfreebrony, one of my favorite pony fandom songs.
I chose the BBC Micro sound chip this time, to give myself more of a challenge. The BBC has three square wave generators and one noise, which isn't _too_ bad, but it can't do low notes and the noise channel is driven by one of the square channels, so incorporating noise effects requires a bit of careful maneuvering.
This was done in Furnace Tracker, which I again highly recommend to anyone who just wants to mess around with bloopy sounds. #chiptune #bbcmicro #furnacetracker
