Great Albums - 1970s: #Can – #FutureDays (1973). Once they stopped trying to be a rock band, Can grew altogether more interesting and even accessible – finding a cooler place between Popol Vuh’s organic ambient and Pink Floyd’s cinematic space boogie. The cop show dramatics on “Spray” evoke a dreamworld car chase, and “Moonshake” sounds like Funkadelic channeled through Mork from Ork. Vocalizer Damo Suzuki gives his last hurrah.
