A consequence of the dreaded incoming flood of SEO-optimized spammy websites is that genuine websites will raise in value. Even the age of a website will add weight. And perhaps curated directories a la Yahoo early days will make a comeback. “Exchanging links” as we used to in the late 90’s and early 00’s, before Google and its ad revenue that shittified the internet, may also find a second wind. All to bypass the ad-revenue business.
