Yesterday @novomancy and I argued at @markcmarino 's #FutureWriting conference that the future of grammar may be recomposable units of meaning rather than prose. Takeaways:

* GPT-4 writes better for discovery than persuasion, correlating across genres and formats.

* GPT-4 is good at diplomacy.

* GPT-4 is bad at empathy.
