Earlier this week, several #hunting organizations, including the Sportsmen's Alliance, Michigan Bear Hunters Association, Upper Peninsula Bear Houndsmen Association, and Wisconsin Bear Hunters Association, submitted two petitions to the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (#FWS). The first seeks to remove Endangered Species Act (#ESA) protections from #GrayWolves in the Western #GreatLakes (Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and neighboring areas).

@cofax #FWS submitted a report about the damage caused by the #Starship launch last week: https://spacenews.com/fish-and-wildlife-service-documents-damage-from-starship-launch/. It seems no wildlife was hurt though there was a brush fire. SpaceX now plans to put in a flame diverter, too, since the launch damaged the launch pad. I guess that’s somewhat better than I expected…
