A year ago I imagined this as a Ukrainian farmer chatting with a Russian army soldier chatting casually on the side of the highway during the stalled Russian armored column invasion.

Today this could be two ghosts chatting in the forests somewhere in Mikolayiv or along the Dnipro river...

A footnote: Just to note that (in my own eyes, as the artist who drew this) there are two apples and two oranges in this drawing.

*That said*, if you only see one apple here, that's valid. Or if you only see one orange, that's valid too. Or if you see no orange, or no apple. All valid, personal interpretations.

Or if you see a guava. Or a cherry. Grape. And on and on and on...

TO NOTE: I don't like drawing fan art *for myself*. I *do* like fan art made by other artists for other artists' properties/IP, and I think fan art *does* have valid value in moving the culture forward.

It's just… well anyway that's why I'm kinda thinking maybe I should change…
