I love the way #GAAGO was supposed to be this well-intended initiative to support expats watching GAA games abroad.

There is a perfectly acceptable player in RTE player, but as any expat knows (or such was the case a few years ago), RTE player is the most locked down and VPN resistant player known to man. They could easily show GAA matches to expats for free, but they choose not to.

You could be paying the licence fee for years, but go abroad for the weekend and you’re cut off.

Such a tense game..

Is GAAGO going away? Just logged in on my TV and it said the app would be discontinued in November.
