We’re trying gabapentin for anxiety and insomnia, and I think it might be working already!!

Positive effects so far (unless it’s a coincidence):
- More restful sleep
- Less anxiety

Negative effects so far:
- Mild headache, should be easily solved with painkillers
- Very mild dry mouth

If it really is helping, that’s SO worth it (and I’m told it might go away after a while).

Took #Gabapentin. Time to feel like a drunk. 😵‍💫

Finally got the appointment done. Got my #gabapentin upped from 300mg once a day to three times a day.

Anything I should be on the watch for with a higher dosage?

Look at my beautiful cat #Grahamstodon, full of the peace of #gabapentin and #Synovan after a successful second attempt to get a blood sample at the vet

The vet took him backstage to take the sample, which made me suspect they were using some form of restraint that they thought would upset me to witness

The vet came back out to the waiting room like “well, it wasn’t easy but we got it”

I have forgotten why we were even testing his blood

So I’m going through Cymbalta withdrawal. One of my housemates gave me a gabapentin to help with the withdrawal symptoms. She said it would probably make me sleepy, three hours later wide awake.

Been dealing with some serious nerve root #sciatica #pain - now have been prescribed #gabapentin - one of those drugs that once you read the accompanying scary info you decide to ‘park’ in the kitchen cupboard next to the tea and coffee.. the idea is to remove/reduce pain to assist mobility (cycling preferred in my case) which should reduce the pain full stop. Please advise if you have experience in this matter.🙏
