I’ve not been drawing lately. Too busy with RL stuff. However today, I just felt like drawing right after I finished my coffee. I had a whiteboard marker close by so I just started doodling. Thought it turned out ok.

Yes I’m still alive and kicking. Just super busy with real life stuff that I had no time nor energy to draw.

Here’s a rough sketch of a character I’m going to draw for @toddlyons’ Chrysogon’a Coterie supplement for .

I’ll likely deviate from this look later. Not sure yet. Posting this anyway as it’s at least a little presentable.

I’ve been asked if I could do an art commission that featured a dragon mascot. I feel like it’s currently outside my wheelhouse so I did some test sketches for it to see if it’s something I can pull off.

Doberman-faced humanoid.

After drawing the schnauzer faced kobolds (new look for 4th Edition), I got lots of positive feedback.

But I also got negative feedback like they weren’t kobolds for one reason or another.

So here is a Doberman-faced humanoid. It’s a kobold if you want. It isn’t if you don’t. Hope you like the drawing regardless.

We’re trying to revamp some of the monsters in the Basic Fantasy RPG core book for the non-OGL 4th edition. I need to draw short schnauzer-headed humanoids. Here are some test sketches for it. They may have come out a little too cute. Will try to make them scarier later.

Looks like it’s time for this year's ! I started the year wanting to improve but then hit a slump then picked it up again in the last quarter. I’m very happy with the improvement of my work over the past year. Looking forward to next year’s.
