This kid is obsessed with fishing. We’ve had to lather him with sunscreen multiple times this week as he just sits and casts, stands and casts, asks us to cast for hours 😩🥵… the lure has no hooks on it for practicing but unsure how long fake fishing will last before the hooks have to go on

Sunset last night. Had to manually focus my 200-600mm lens because of the smoke. If it wasn’t for the sunlight reflecting on the water, wouldn’t have been able to see much either

Rens a year older than last summer in Fort Smith, where we lived in thick orange smoke for weeks on end. Im finding it really hard this year with all the fluctuations. We live in a building with lots to do now but he and I have spent most of our time outside. He’s only capable of understanding/accepting so much day after day that it’s not great to spend hours in toxic air. Anywhere, where are a few images from June, 2023
