@DevinPike the #starwars #galacticstarcruiser was truly an impactful experience for my wife and me. i hate that it's expensive enough to be cost-prohibitive to most fans, because it really is something everyone should experience. i would love to see it persist, if nothing else just to know that more people will get to experience it, but i understand why disney is having trouble keeping it afloat. it's unfortunate.

So I'm guessing nobody at #Apple consulted with anyone at #Disney when diving into the #AppleVision device.

I'm not questioning whether or not the cost to make the device justifies its price. It probably does. So did the #GalacticStarcruiser, but the more important question is how much are people willing to pay?

Even if I pay with my #AppleCard, it'll be $150 per month for two years.

I was just thinking I hope the cast and crew of the #galacticstarcruiser know it is not their fault that it failed. It was a marketing failure start to finish.

Man, this is astute. Sure, there are #Disney obsessives that will gladly fork over any amount of money, but, despite my own fandom of both #DisneyParks and #StarWars, the value has dramatically diminished. Forcing me to choose between this and whole world of experiences, I’m going to limit my time in the Parks.

Just read that as of 4.30pm today all voyages on the #StarWars #galacticstarcruiser are sold out... Not surprised and I wish every a wonderful voyage

Also to the trying to book a voyage on the #StarWars #galacticstarcruiser please be kind to the cast member taking your call they are just as stressed out as you are and have no control over things they are just gathering information

To all those trying to book a voyage on #starwars #galacticstarcruiser may the force be with you, I was on hold 8 hours last year on the day bookings first opened, the worst part was no hold music so you always questioned if you had been disconnected

I wonder if it would be possible to make the #GalacticStarcruiser a part of Galaxy’s Edge. Disney already has the vans to shuttle guests and maintain the illusion, and guests could participate in some activities there. Maybe dine, do some kind of interactive experience, etc. it could be an added cost experience like Savi’s, but it wouldn’t have to be. There are possibilities.

I am super-surprised that #GalacticStarcruiser is closing. I figured they'd change it to a passive hotel with regular-scheduled immersive cruises.

It makes me wonder if shuttering it is temporarily permanent and we'll see it come back seasonally, or as described above.
