Available evidence pointed to #Brooklyn #Mafia member Carmine #Galante as the killer, but it was deemed insufficient for a murder prosecution. #galante is often a term for the period 1720/1770s but it's rather a name for a style that came to the fore in that period, somewhat akin to the rococo style in the visual arts.
