The decoration over the entrance to Hielan Jessie on Gallowgate in Glasgow.
One of the oldest pubs in Glasgow, it is named affer Jessie Brown who opened it in 1857 after her husband was killed fighting with the 17th Highland Regiment in India.

Abandoned railway line passing under Crownpoint Road in the east end of Glasgow before disappearing under the city towards the northwest.
This line, part of the Glasgow City and District Railway, would have originally linked Bridgeton Cross Station (closed in 1979) with Gallowgate Central Station (closed in 1917) and on to High Street Station (still operational).

Beautifully carved bull's head above the entrance to the former meat market on the Gallowgate in Glasgow.
There's another very similar bull's head carving not that far away on a former tannery building in St Andrew's Square.
As far as I know, these are the only two such carvings in Glasgow.

The grand sandstone arch which is now all that remains of the former meat market on the Gallowgate in Glasgow.
Like other buildings built for a similar purpose in Glasgow, the arch features a sculpture of a bull's head on its keystone.
