Finally got my nerves together and soldered in the 64 Mbyte flash chip in the Zelda #gameandwatch.
It went *a lot* better than when I did the Mario, but this time I had the hot air station from the start.
The new chip is 6×8 mm small and have no legs. The old is slightly smaller, but have "large" friendly legs to solder.
If I am to keep doing this I really want to get a microscope. 🤓
Probably should have cleaned up the right side of the chip a little, but it works. 😅

This is still an extremely frustrating game at times. I spend a lot of time not knowing what to do, just searching for things. And occasionally refer to a walkthrough when I feel too lost. My patience it not that great.
But I now have four of the eight instruments to play for the Wind Fish egg.
I never got this far back in the day.

We all knew it would happen eventually. I bought the #Zelda version of the #gameandwatch also.
I have been playing #LinksAwakening a lot on the hacked Mario-GnW lately, and the extra buttons on this one will make it easier.
I should probably write about the game on my blog … 😄 it’s fun, but also extremely frustrating at times.
