Making good progress. Collected the second of the five main macguffins.
Had difficulty playing soccer against a rabbit. That turtle was a good goalie. Oddly, the next boss was cake. While most bosses have insta-fails that kick you out of the arena, I was able to just hop back onto the net that this net-crawly boss knocked me off of.
Anyway, despite a few hiccups, I'm enjoying myself a lot. I *am* a little concerned that I'll lose track of what levels I can make progress in, but as long as that clown face continues to give me guidance, that shouldn't ever become an issue.
BTW, this game really likes its golf minigame. A bunch of levels require playing a randomized sidescrolling course to unlock a path forward, and it costs coins to play. Thankfully, it's cheap, and shows where your max hit will land to help you guage your shots. I don't think I'll ever be locked from progression.

My #GameboyPocket is still perfect. My #GameboyColor has a weird stain on its panel and I have no idea how it got in that state. My #GameboyAdvanceSP's screen is waaaaaay worse than I remember it, guess we got spoiled by modern backlit screens, eh? And my original Gameboy Advance (prime candidate for a screen mod) had blown batteries with massive corrosion. It doesn't power on atm. Yay!

#MetalWalker is a pokemon like game only mixed with shooting pool.
The main appeal of the game to me was the world it creates.
The dystopian island.
Have not played it in a decade but I remember loving it.
Reminds me of metal max meets cave story as far as settings go.
One of my favorite #GameBoyColor games.
