4X roguelike where you have to avoid developing the wrong technologies and/or developing the wrong technical technologies without the right social technologies.
Less a #GameIdea and more a weird thing...
Pound for Pound. You stay with ~100 lbs of weight to your body and trade it away by pound to gain things. Items, skills, opportunities, etc. When you run out, you get a summary of the life you created, and how much wealth your accumulated (in £). The real appeal is the weird things you include decided from choices and randomization.
There was some software that gave you a random life, but I think you can make it more gamey with the trading.
Game where the main character's face is a display (#Robot, #Protogen, etc) and the face is a text canvas that can be modified in realtime by the player as they see fit.

there should be a horror game where the antagonist is the actual designer going insane from their mandatory crunch time hours who starts torturing the protagonist as a stress outlet

Fishing game, but you're the fish. Eat before the timer runs out. Don't be fooled by trick food.
**GAME IDEA**
A Skyrim and GTA mashup, featuring a playable Dominic Toretto of Fast & Furious fame, who bellows "FA-MI-LY" to kill skyscrapers filled with evil cars
#solarpunk #gamedesign idea:
Survival game where you learn to be a part of an ecosystem and slowly abandon your unsustainable "tech tree" replacing it with sustainable, local solutions.
---
A lot of games are trying to replicate very expansionist core loops, be it Minecraft's Factorios and so on, which see the player as a force acting on the environment / ecosystem, not working together with it.
Why not change it?

#GameIdea for an #IndieGame
A Telltale style adventure where you play a toddler. Whole game is set in different corners of the house living room. You keep making completely trivial bullshit decisions, but it takes itself very seriously. Endings vary from becoming a wanted criminal to becoming a billionaire or a cop (which of course would be the bad ending). So you see, there's also plenty of room for subtle/very-on-the-nose systemic critique.
A: Eat porridge
B: Throw porridge on floor
X: Barf on porridge
Y: Throw a tantrum because porridge has the wrong goopiness
MOM WILL REMEMBER THIS.
#GameDevs this is a freebie. Hmu if you need a writer, I have scenarios forever.

this long piece, is what i wanted to bring into life, game that would be called "exhibitionism misadventure", would be a #NSFW stealth game where the main objective is to be #naked in #public as long as possible, but due to not understanding coding and afraid of being caught myself, this game is sadly won't come to life, sorry
(this is #reupload)
(also this is my 1st ever drawing i've made)

I have this weird small #gameidea that I might do for a jam or maybe for a palate cleanser once Mercantile is shipped. Basically you play as a plant that is trying to grow, but all the mechanics and aesthetic are based around those weird shonen anime tropes from series like Jojo and Fist of the North Star.
Game Pitch: An RPG where NPCs are always trying to tempt the player into egoic games of conquest or glory. Each branching path gets progressively more difficult and perverse and you progress along it, providing diminishing returns and turning boons into burdens.
The only way to actually beat the game is to focus on your character's personal development and learn to resist the call of the ego.

yes, my prototype now have more rules, colors, big red cubes and (blank) cards!
and a new theme too... the scout theme wasn't getting to me nowadays, so now it's a game about GETTING TREASURES IN STRANGE ISLANDS!

Starting to think about a new game!
This was an old board game idea for 2 players, but I'll try to reimagine it as a single-player, puzzle, digital game (using the tabletop feel anyway)
For know, it's about scouts trying to get medals through a day on the field, but who knows - i'm a mechanic-first designer, so let's test this game feel on tabletop mode :)

Este concepto se ve interesante sobre ir contando una historia mientras la vas escribiendo
A team vs. team game where only one player each team can see the map with all other players on it (from all teams). Another team member might have stealth so even their own map-seer can't see them. Other roles TBD. #ProjectIdea #GameIdea
