Yesterday’s Game of Shrooms was fantastic! I put out 15 small mushroom pieces - painting / print / collage - and excitedly found one really fantastic one (in the selfie pic). I made new friends at the local meetup, and followed many local artists on Instagram. Pictured are me & found mushroom by Attaboy, and three of my hidden pieces. Next year: June 8! This is one of my small paintings from this year’s #GameOfShrooms - where artists make mushroom art and hide it and others seek to find it. I had a total blast with this project this year and I am super excited to do it again next summer.

I will participate in the "Game Of Shrooms" art hunt, but I will do it online instead of a physical location.

One of the reasons why I'm so reluctant about wood is that is quite messy, and it doesn't translate well for apartment living.

Recently, while I was looking at my old wood stuff, I found a 15yrs old catalog of woodcraft, I'm really (big really) regretting not buying tools then when they were decently priced and times were much better (economical wise), nowadays can't afford any of those knives, so my old cheap set have to do the job now 😅

For many year I've been wanting to do "art-toys" or "custom toys", specially with wood (which translate in one of a kind).

Now that I have a more defined character style, I feel is the time to put some wood pieces out there on good use.
