@daviwil My major concern to switching to #guix is that my #Steam #games work at least as well as they do in #archlinux. I have had problems with my #gamepads, but it might be related to #linux #libre. I also would like to use #protonGE, if possible via #protonup. All the rest is nice and good!

DualShock 4 (of PS4) controller was supported unofficially via "hid-sony" since Linux 3.15 - but now things get official :linux:

All the more - things indeed go even better: backwards compatibility with Sony's older DualShock "hid-playstation" driver.

This particular driver already included (PS5 introduced) official DualSense / DualSense Edge gamepad support.

You can also connect MULTIPLE DualSense gamepads via Bluetooth.

Linux rising as a mainstream gaming platform with rumble - Sony obviously wants gamers to use their gadgets.
