Random #GameRecommendation for the #NintendoSwitch: Dicey Dungeons is a great little puzzle/strategy game that's perfect if you're going on a trip or something and need a good distraction for the plane/drive/whatever. It starts with a simple die-roller mechanic, and gives you a variety of ways to stack the odds in your favor. Then, each of the 6 characters gives the mechanic a new twist that makes you think all over again. It's an excellent handheld experience in bitesize chunks. Nice for $15

The Case of the Golden Idol has big Obra Dinn energy and I am here for it.

Those are big spiritual-successor shoes to fill, but I’m halfway through and it’s good so far. The art grows on you. And extra DLC content is coming this week, so get in.

It’s made with #Godot too, rock on.

Recommendations for a first RPG for a 9 year old? She likes fantasy and reading, so I think she'd like RPGs, but she also (1) likes games very easy, (2) dislikes pixel art, and (3) dislikes being forced to be male.

I haven't yet finished playing #VirtuaVerse, but an #Amiga 500 #demo is integral to the plot, and I don't think any more needs to be said. Play it in the classic mode, not the new "story mode". You'll probably need a walkthrough to get through some parts, but the puzzles are a lot of fun.

Slice and Dice, great value, if you like slay the the spire you will probably like this too, bonus: it's also playable on android

@remi_tootata I fell in the Vampire Survivors trap, which was tailor made to tickle my brain in an addictive way. Would definitely recommend having a look / go at it if you ever enjoyed "messy" roguelikes akin to Risk of Rain (especially the first one).

Aside from that, still enjoying my time learning Age of Empires 4 which is really having big momentum with recent updates and community events / tournaments.

Lastly I downloaded Pentiment which I can't wait to start, will report back on it soon!

I’m replaying some Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, but most importantly i’m discovering Shin-chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation, the latest game by the studio Millenium Kitchen. It’s silly and gorgeous to look at, it’s had a very relaxing pace so far and it’s such a joy to finally be able to play a game with the same DNA as the Boku no Natsuyasumi series 🌻

Not sure if I've gotten more value out of a sub-$5 game in many years. Vampire Survivors is a delightful mix of a roguelike, bullet-hell, Castlevania, and RPG. I knew I would like it, but I've put 20+ hours into it in less than a week. I haven't gamed like that in years, and I'm still very early through the game and achievements!
