Robotron 2084 (Atari 7800), Just for Fun, Pt.3

I actually made it to level 46 but realized I was not yet casting. Argh.. replayed and got an acceptable level 34l This game is one of the first twin stick shooters.. where you could move the character with controller 1 and shoot with controller 2. Retro gaming at its finest.

Today I have been exploring behaviour trees in #UnrealEngine5 . While I can see how it should be used i wondered if anyone here in #GamesDev does then this way in any form (writing custom services and tasks in C++) or make your own AI arrangements?

Wstyd się przyznać, że mam na dysku Hitmana 3 (+ Hitmana 1 i Hitmana 2 ze wszystkimi DLC) od dnia premiery, a jeszcze nie uruchomiłem tego ani razu… Mowa o ostatnim, bo w H1 i H2 grałem już sporo na innej platformie (PS4, teraz mam na Xboxie), chociaż DLC do H2 dalej czekają w kolejce.

Nie zmienia to faktu, że ten dzień nadchodzi. Dodatkowo dzisiaj w końcu obejrzałem materiał z nowego trybu Freelance. Od stycznia 2023 dostaniemy generowanego losowo roguelike w świecie i mechanice Hitmana. Dygnął mi, nie powiem.

Zawsze staram się trzymać na dysku jedną "grę zen" i chyba w końcu nadchodzi czas na przyznanie się, że nowa seria Hitmana to jest moja gra generacji poprzedniej i obecnej z wielu powodów. Ta gra przede wszystkim jest świetnie zaprojektowana, o czym dużo już mówił Mark w GMTK (tu: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5N4U46QOyeA tu: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56iiP2xQn74 i tu: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfJ-vGXX9ag&t ). Do tego romans skradanki z moim drugim, ulubionym gatunkiem brzmi jak kombo doskonałe. Wspomniałem już, że jestem też miłośnikiem rogali(ków)?

PS: Panie Ubisoft, możecie już olać nowego Splinter Cella. Teraz jest nowy król na dzielni: Pan Łysy, i nie jest to Łysy z Brazzers. Zostawcie Sama w spokoju, bo jeszcze to spierdolicie open worldem i znajdzkami. Nic lepszego, niż Conviction i Blacklist już nie powstanie. Żal tylko tego coopa i multi, które już nie działa. Te tryby były naprawdę rewolucyjnym powiewem świeżości. Kiedyś o tym opowiem, bo to kolejny długi temat.
