Experimenting with writing a script for Aseprite which uses tags, layer data, & "magic layers" to export animation data w/ stuff like hitboxes, root motion position, etc.
Kinda going off the idea for the tool I was working on before, but a simpler prototype of it.
Released Wolf Engine v0.25 today!
This one is a small update. Just some new helper functions, and some changes to the event system in preparation for some bigger features I'll be working on soon. Window system, inputs, and 2d graphics are the next steps I think.

Progress on sprite atlas UI. Can now create new atlas from images (png, jpg, & QOI supported) and add new sprites to an atlas. Will also add support for importing sprite atlases from TexturePacker

Working on a game sprite animation tool. Poking at the sprite atlas import UI (you'd import or create sprite atlases, then use those sprites to assemble the animation frames)
Finding that there really just isn't a good tool for making game sprite animations w/ support for marking up frames with hitboxes, hurtboxes, events, etc so that's kind of the goal here.
