Nothing like going to see the #Kongkee Warring States #Cyberpunk exhibit on its last day at #SFAAM followed up by sound check for the #SUNNO))) #Shoshin (#初心) Duo show at #GAMH only to log back on and see a troll in my notifications.

Not only was birdsite migration bad, as someone who used to idle on #bantown: trolls these days aren't even imaginative nor creative.

They've become the idiotic hecklers of the interwebs and I am not a stand up comedian.

@tomjennings I was reminded of your post when I went to the #ESG show on Saturday at #GAMH in SF.

One of the opening bands was called #FakeFruit. Two of the four members signed their album for me (the other two, who knows where they went?).

The other opening band was called #VivianPenaché and they also signed their cassette.
(entertainingly their cassette of "Move Your Body" seems to be recorded over a commercially released album? I guess new blank cassettes are at a premium price these days?)

Holy shit, that was a killer show. Didn’t really know what to expect but the jams were phenomenal.

Great American Music Hall is an amazing venue. A lot of history in that place.

@fogelnet #GAMH is the best ~ is smaller but much better venue IMHO ~ was part of a group who were considering taking it over at one point in about 2000

Just received an email that the Jazz is Dead venue moved from The Regency Ballroom to The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. I have never been to GAMH and pretty excited about that. That being said, I hope they didn’t move because of lackluster ticket sales. Could be the other way around depending on the Regency Ballroom room. Hopefully this is the case.
