@gvogeler now that #GAMS is up again, we immediately hit the save this page button on archive.org. But they don’t scrape individual edited files such as https://web.archive.org/web/20221006144539/https://qhod.net/o:vipa.tr.hbg.map/sdef:TEI/get?mode=view:read. Any hints on how to proceed to have a static backup for the next incident?

@gvogeler Thanks, just posted that a few mins ago… The DNS change back to #GAMS is still propagating, but https://qhod.net should be completely back soon-ish.
If you just need our TEI data without the #frontend, https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.7648909 should work reliably!

https://qhod.net/ now points to #GAMS again after the latter’s return, so the HTML representation of the QhoD edition data is back on the interwebs!

Our #TEI #edition #data is now available as a remedy of last week’s #GAMS outage after #hack of #UniGraz.

It took a while (git lfs and git filter-repo, repo cleanup and housekeeping), but only now anyone can access the whole bunch of #diplomacy sources of #HabsburgEmpire #OttomanEmpire relations:

Help wanted: MCP model in Pyomo
I have a Mixed Complementarity Problem (MCP) that represents a market under perfect competition. The model is written in GAMS and works as expected. But when translating it to Python, using Pyomo, the model is infeasible. Both models use the Path solver.
Can anyone see where I've gone wrong?

If I want to fit a spline but constrain it to going through certain points (e.g., the start and end of an epicurve should be zero), what's the best way? I'm thinking of adding points to the data at the ends of the range with very high weights. Not sure what the consequences of that would be. #rstats
