IMO the Fediverse is a kind of community with strong beliefs about what it brings us.

So when I read the #GarbageDay newsletter that compares BlueSky (a copy/paste of Twitter) and Mastodon, and they claim that multiple servers is crap, I hit the "trash bin" button on that newsletter.

Garbage Day typically publishes four times a week--free Monday, Wednesday, and Friday editions plus a Saturday roundup for subscribers. It's a great way to keep up with WTF is going on on the internet and with internet-related technology. Sometimes the newsletter covers stuff that I'd seen bits and pieces of but couldn't grasp the whole, sometimes it covers stuff that I hadn't heard of before but that I do encounter a day or week later (and now I have context to understand what's going on), and sometimes it covers stuff I' never run into in a million years (crypto lol) but that I still like having general knowledge of.
