PAUSE FOR #POLLINATORS
Wait as long as possible to do your #Spring #garden clean up. Consistent 50°F (10°C) days will give #BumbleBees, #moths, #butterflies, & more a chance to emerge safely.

So many little seedlings coming up! When do my fellow gardeners start to use some fertilizer? I waited way too long last year and had super sluggish growth until I did.

As a third year #CommunityGardener in #NJ, I need to start planning for #Spring. #GardenAdvice accepted!
We have two plots, split in 2 sections, with two good lengths of 4’ fence, for #beans #flowers and such.
Images from last summer’s #JerseyFresh produce. Yum.

so I'm thinking a couple fruits bushes (berries/currants) that I'll put inside the garden so they can't complain that I'm fencing myself in (and also so children can't harvest the fruits, since it apparently happens a lot), perennials plants along the NE border (rosemary, lavender, lemon verbena? any other idea peeps?) and in between them along the same border some tent like structures on which to grow climbers (beans, peas, maybe flowers?)
what do ye think? any plant suggestion?
