Something I'm trying and liking this year was trying primroses and primulas in our hanging baskets along the garage. I am organizing a free seed swap for my city this Saturday. It’s downtown to serve the inner city area where there a lot of new backyard growers. Here’s hoping ppl come! After we had to sell our farm, I kept my seed inventory. Just too hard to part with. But now I feel like I could feed the world after the apocalypse looking at these boxes full of potential. Garden pic of the day. Coral Sunset Peony under the Kwanzan Cherry tree. She starts out a stunning deep salmon/copper color. Then fades to a pinky apricot eventually becoming a papery blush and finally cream colored as she fades away. Breathtaking in the garden and vase.
