In-between caring for my new small human, I've been taking care of some jobs on the garden railway.

- Cleaning and repainting station signs; ran out of white paint, some now on order.
- Re-attaching station sign to station building.
- Repairing station building tiles.
- Repairing broken platform with epoxy resin.
- Installation of new (scale) tap.

Since I was a lad (a long time ago, in case you're wondering - dinosaurs still walked the Earth) I've had a dream of having a #gardenRailway. I used to get Railway Modeller, or was it #ModelRailway? One of the two. Sometimes both.

Anyway, it was their fault that I became fascinated with the idea of having a railway in my garden.

I've... just looked up the price of locomotives in "G" gauge. I found not a single one under £1000. Not one! Some were over £4000!
