I was hoping that the Wiggle dress from Patterns for Pirates would be a fall wardrobe staple but I'm not sure how I feel about elastic in the neckline. This was just a muslin so I wasn't concerned with tidiness, so maybe on the real thing, it will be ok? Any thoughts/opinions?

It usually takes 2-3 toiles to get undies right but they only take 30-60min to make, so I should be able to get at least one pair ready for wear by the end of the weekend

Despite adding 2" to the skirt, it's still a bit short with a bare leg for my liking but it's comfortable. I have a matching Minna top ready to go

@sewing I think I am finally happy with the fit of this top pattern. I created a one piece neck and armhole facing to replace the binding. I'm not sure I am happy with that, but it will take a test drive to see if it lays right and stays all day. Then, it will be assembly line time!

made the zero waste bog jacket by the sew sew, this was just a first try and i used a thrifted blanket. next time i'll use a sleeping bag style blanket to make it. like many zero waste items it is very much not zero waste, but still very fun to make.

i did enjoy making this and it was super quick and easy but it's a little annoying that i paid $$$ for the pattern and then found out that it's a pattern that has been used since the bronze age and there are many, many free tutorials online, e.g.: https://maryewarner.com/2018/11/08/bog-coat-bog-bodies/
