it has always been obvious that corporations/oligarchs/dictators were running off the same disinformation/psyops playbook, but lately it seems that they are running an algorithm -- if caught in a lie, double down with an ironic meme -- if there is an attempt to violently overthrow the elected government of a democratic nation, send vague tweet supporting *the people*, but don't condemn the violence, etc
