When I'm not working, shoveling snow , or tending to the back 40, or cooking, I like to read, do visual art (#drawing, #painting), enjoy thoughtfully prepared food with locally sourced ingredients (#foodie, #gastropub, #craftbeer), reading (#historicalfiction, #sciencefiction, #fantasy, #arthistory), and doing jigsaw puzzles with M'Luv (yes, I'm married). I am a bad feminist, but I support the National Museum for Women in the Arts.

Went out for dinner last night to a local #Pinoy #gastropub and tried Kansi for the first time.
Omg guys. It was AMAZING.
A beautiful tangy broth traditionally made with beef shank (this one used osso bucco) and young jackfruit, flavoured with lemongrass, ginger, chillies, tomatoes and a tart green fruit called batwan.
