Gavin Lyall’s 1963 novel The Most Dangerous Game, the second of his superb spy thrillers. An aviation spy thriller.

Lyall was very much in the Alistair MacLean mould. MacLean has many imitators. Lyall was the only one in the same league as the master.

Great stuff, with a cool setting (Lapland).
