One of the things I'll miss most about Twitter becoming a cesspool that no one uses is that I had, over the years, followed a lot of the folks that got their start at a #Gawker pub (Gawker, Jalopnik, Jezebel, Gizmodo, Lifehacker) and then went on to write ridiculously well for other publications. They were generally just peppered through my feed, if they still posted.
The pre-Hogan/Theil Gawker-world was really a wild place when you consider how many good people worked there at some time.
