Here I am at a friend's 4th of July celebration in Silverlake, CA, around 1985, when being a gay America wasn't being threatened by the Christofascist Republicans. It was barely 15 years after the Stonewall Riots.
I can't believe we are having to fight for our rights again! Well, guess what? We're not going back into the closet!!!
