Why is it when you’re running and it’s windy … no matter which way you turn it’s always a headwind?! 😅 Bright and chilly, 11km (146m/480ft) elevation gain, plodded round in 1:06.13. Now 4 mile walk to allotment and town for harvest and purchasing comestibles. I may be 50 in a few days, but there’s life in these old pins yet!!

Rain stopped, wind negligible, a balmy, albeit ground-misty 8.9 degrees, so a welcome return to the short sleeves for today's parkland run. (I do prefer a short-sleeve, even in autumn and winter!)

Nice and slowsy (that’s slow and easy) this morning. It was too nice to go fast. Mild weather (7C), the ducks were active on the pond, moorhens chasing squirrels was fun to watch, lots of leaves to kick, crunch and squelch. When you don’t train for anything you can run just how you wish.
