My family – and I, I suppose – are fans of The #GreatBritishSewingBee. It's a very sweet little program and in this house we're a makers, in a small way. My wife's costume skills are to be reckoned with.

But I do wish they wouldn't refer to the contestants as "sewers".

*I still really enjoy it, I just don’t understand how they can make some of the garments they do in the time. I did one of my quickest ‘cut to finished’ sews to date (a knit jumper from a T-shirt pattern) and it was still a morning’s work.

Admittedly rethreading my overlocker took some time after the lower looper thread snapped. 😂 Although you never see that on #GBSB though. 🤣
