I would actually love if GDQ did a Zelda Twilight Princess Low % block as an intermission block / gag that they'd cut to every so often between regular runs.
This is because huge chunks of the run is Link just standing there holding items and slowly wiggling through the wall for hours.

Yep, I don't know exactly when the save/kill bid war dropped, but it's raised 10K casually in the middle of the Breath of the Wild run.
(which is... uh, on the final boss and has only just crossed the hour mark. To reiterate: the runner cannot see the game itself.)

I’ve been pretty anti #GDQ for a variety of reasons over the years as far as #speedrun events go, but the fact that they still have a mask mandate in the venue makes me want to get my wallet out for them immediately.

Sometimes you think you may be getting a bit tired of #GDQ and then a bunch of people #speedrun Peggle of all things and what are you gonna do? Not watch them go extremely technical about throwing the ball in the pachinko pit over and over?

I wonder what stuff happens locally for it. The town I lived before I was friends with the Black folks who started an event for it, and other fellow BIPOC that did cool shit. It was pretty much the only time I knew people and what was happening in my life really
