Yeah - my feeling is that "Developer <anything>" only works for a particular kind of platform team. The #teamtopologies concept can cover other kinds of platforms too.
For example, the #GDS #DesignSystem: https://design-system.service.gov.uk/ feels like a platform, but it's about many more people than developers.

Of course, I am also a user, since government usually has a monopoly on #government services.
As I use the service I used to help build, I'm always pleased to see how people who joined the team after I left are continuing to carry the #usability torch, as evidenced by further #iterative improvements.
