The huge increase in the cost of mortgages is largely irrelevant to the #Tories who seem resigned (many of their MPs are indeed resigning) to losing #GE2024.

It is very relevant to #Labour who so far have offered little response other than the tired aspiration of "building jobs and industries of the future". The incoming administration faces a huge task, and for starters their 'continuity Tory' approach to #Brexit will do practically nothing for the crippled economy.
