Today I went on my first solo adventure gravel bike ride.
It was absolutely one of the most fun rides I’ve done in years.
58° sideways rain/mist. Storm watch, high wind watch, gale warning, hazardous seas warning (on a bike ride!). One short bushwhack, nearly perfect gated gravel. I didn’t see a single car(!) or any people (only 5 pedestrians in town). All gravel bookended by 2 miles of pavement.
