On the same day, I wiped Windows 98 off my computer, believing that Debian Linux (which I had been using for a while but still kept Windows on another partition) could do everything I had been doing with Windows until then.
Since that day, many installations of Linux, *BSD, MacOS have graced my computers, but Windows has remained, on a few occasions, only an occasional (unwelcome) guest.
In the spirit of a typical support group phrase, I can joyfully say:
'Hello, I'm Stefano, and I haven't been using Windows as my primary operating system for 25 years.'

I used the time to update the theme of my #WordPress #blog. The new theme finally supports #DarkMode (#Yay!)
I also use now a static front page that welcomes visitors and tells them some #facts #AboutMe (#WorkInProgress!).
I tried also to be #creative with the links to my other spaces on the #web.

Now I'm deciding how to gracefully back out of Facebook and Instagram and remain in touch with various friends around the globe having already deleted/disabled Twitter and a half dozen other "social" platforms.

Another milestone on my self hosting journey: last week I installed WoodpeckerCI to complement my Forgejo intance (a gitea fork). And this week I automatically published my first rust crates to https://crates.io from this CI pipeline.
