I discovered that if I ink the gel plate and put a carved linoblock on it, the Lino lifts the ink/paint and gives me a reverse of what the Lino would normally print. This way I can quickly carve a ‘line drawing’ and print that design over and over using a gel plate. Then the ‘line drawing’ print can be hand colored in different ways each time.
