Is 500 characters enough for a daily summary? Maybe, maybe not.

Today, I've struggled (tinkered) with Sway - tiling window manager on Wayland. Having switched to it recently I am trying to make it my own, but it is proving tricky. I also verofied that I can play Steam games no problem at max monitor refresh rate, which was nice.

I researched a little about #smallpunk philosophy and #gemeni web protocol - the idea seems appealing to me.

I just noticed that there's an #Emacs client for #Gopher + #gemeni. It's called `elpher` and it's available from MELPA.

I haven't browsed the Gemeni space yet, but I think it's a great project.

Ok minimalists.. #gemeni or #gopher for making a space on the internet? I'll put up a sign that says "no JavaScript allowed".

I know there is TLS with gemini which has its upsides. Gopher has a longer bloodline. Other than that I don't have any thoughts on the topic. Would it be possible to span both universes trivially? I suppose that would be a script that could transcribe one format into another.
