It sucks when you're writing code and a feature or bug is perpendicular to your project. I know the solution but it requires a massive change because it doesnt fit the rest of the project's design and implemention. Oh well, on to new stories.

For the new years I took stock of how RSS has helped me begin my new year on cutting back on the way I consume content and removing some of the negative aspects of the web. Primarily by feeding most of my internet consumption through RSS feeds.

I was trying to throw together a little F.A.Q for myself on #mastodon for my #gemlog and #blog mostly as a personal reference when I likely either blab about here over the holidays, or get asked about it.

But I honestly, struggle SO hard to be concise sometimes. :P It's like I am a walking software engineer stereotype. I can't help but get into the dorky details. But the point was to not have people's eyes gloss over, or scare anyone away who would like it here.
