Finally getting a chance to go through some of the stuff I got at #gencon and #LegendsofUganda is by far the most interesting #TTRPG supplement

written by Ashraf Brandon, who recalls legends and personal experiences from his childhood in Uganda then gives stats to the monsters in the story. If you're sick of reusing creatures from Greek and Roman mythology, this is a great source to have!

Although the mechanics are written for DCC it would be easy to import into any #DnD or #OSR game.

Played Lord of the Rings: Adventure to Mount Doom we got at #GenCon.

It's a cooperative game we lovingly call Lord of the Rings: CandyLand because you have to follow a path from Rivendell to Mount Doom.

We played twice... Lost twice.

- Flew back home from Indianapolis after #GenCon
- Started updating my fork of #SignalApp from v6.26 to v6.27

What I'm doing today:
- Track down a bug with MMS group messages in my fork of #SignalApp
- Sync with Flynn
- Prepare my presentation on #Parabola #GNU/ #LinuxLibre that I'm giving at the Boulder LUG tomorrow.

Blockers/Concerns:
- I hate Gradle so much

Designer update this week if you're outside the US: "I have two meetings this week for international fulfillment so I will provide updates very soon -#GenCon had everyone super busy."

The last #GenCon event is over — I passed the COVID test.

I had taken my mask off a few times to be heard over the din at the event (people can make out words better when they can see mouths), and also skipped it when at the bars or restaurants (when not outside). Irresponsible, I know, but it seems to have worked out.
