Okay, so serious post here. Why did it take me so long to let Sophie run the show? Well, you know the #Christian ✝️ part? Yeah, not fans of me being Sophie. So while I was busy rummaging through anyone’s closet I had access to so I could get the #genderEuphoria of wearing the right clothes, I was busy repressing it because it WAS NOT ALLOWED, thus said the Lord.

Been feeling lots of euphoria as I get the chance to explore who I am and what I want. With that has come a lot of pictures. I used to hate having my picture taken, but now, I can't stop! And I just got my hair done a few days ago! Added yellow to the existing blue and pink (and got both redone with it).

Accidental gender affirming awkward situation! I've been fairly proud of my vocal control but a lady smelling of heavy cigarette smoke was trying to unlock our front door. I go over to check the peep hole and see hair in a bun. I called out, "Hello?" She thinks I'm her daughter from my response and tells me to stop playing around. I tell her she has the wrong door and she apologizes and is mortified.

I am now finally happy with my leg hair.

No idea how it took me as long as it did, and that I became happy with my (more demonized) facial hair far sooner.

But I'm happy.

And no one *cares* about me being hairy IRL. So blessed for no one to care!

Since I‘ve been reading that politicians in the US have called #trans people „mutants“, I feel the need to point out that this may not be the slur you think it is.

I have A.D.H.D., Major Depressive Disorder, and Chronic Migraines among other things. Some days are harder than others but I try to remember I’m always doing my best even if “best” is subjective and contextual. I’m also technically diagnosed with #GenderDysphoria but really I only experience #GenderEuphoria, particularly when I disconnect myself from gender.

Hi, Mastodon! I am writing my thesis for my Master's in Social Work. Originally, I wanted to focus on butch women obtaining top surgery.

Now, I want to look at how the trans community navigates/negotiates/pressures the medical community into creating a more expansive view on gender and a less medicalized view of gender dysphoria. (ie, viewing dysphoria as a social problem, not psychological.)

Today was the best day of any #NDC that I've experienced so far. And that's excluding the party that was a quite decent boost, as always.
Kinda weird seeing and hearing so many talks that feel like they could renew the fire of my engagement in the software.
Also, I felt like a kind of a #genderEuphoria a bit.

The #GenderEuphoria of seeing that advertisers have you pegged as a woman because they serve you ads for maxipads and tampons even though you have never searched or bought those online

This a #GenderEuphoria day where I look in the mirror and can hardly believe the magic potion we mortals call estradiol. Stuff is wild magic.

The other day at work, I was dressed masc and a stranger say "Hey man" and complimented my boots. I felt so much gender euphoria that it was hard to not smile at work... I was trying to be serious but couldn't.
