@specternicnevin I won't go down the rabbit-hole of trying to discuss how #genderfluidity fits into this topic, I will just point out that #transphobia #bigotry #ignorance #hatespeech directed at #transgender people is a plausible reason for one to want to 'pass.' My personal experience of #gender is that I am a #woman. I do not ever feel the need to express myself in any other way on the #genderspectrum. There is no "right way" to experience gender; you just do. Peace.
